S550 Intake Resonator Delete Plug

Hey guys,

Just put this together for one of my R&D cars, while in our shop.

We were doing bracket design for another project, and I really wanted to see if I could design a plug that would look OEM.

What do you think? I was thinking of having the letters "GT" or "2.3" as inlays in the plug, or keep it black.

How does the resonator blob come off ... pop off, or cut off?

Does the mod change the intake sound or anything else? It cleans up the looks, but what are the effects?

His car was a 2016 EcoBoost. I cut the resonator off at the base, with a dremel. Popped this bad boy in, done.

i dropped my stock intake while I was messing around and it came right off.

It just cleans up your bay a little. My driver said he noticed zero change in sound or anything.

I can do them in different colors, although I am sure you guys want mostly black...

Let me know and I can put them up for sale in our store.
