I have a 2016 mustang gt it has 45k miles and I had the codes p0300 and p0302 pop up and did some research and found that it was the intake manifold. I did have some sort of exhaust leakage after it was fixed the engine light went away. This was concerning as I saw that you can do a imrc lock out but if I did it on an oem manifold would I have to re tune it regardless ?

Yes you will need a tune. Locking them out will gain nothing. The tune will.

sorry I forgot to mention I am getting the error codes p0300 and p0302 and I’m sure it’s the valve sticking. I want to just stick with the oem manifold because if I upgrade to the 2018 then I would have to get a tune. I don’t plan on getting a turbo or supercharger. I just want to keep the stock oem and delete/ lock out imrc . Would I then still need to get a tune if I lock out the imrc on oem manifold?

Yes, the car either won't run or will run like crap.

Thank you very much :) . Do you know which company I should contact for this tune on the oem manifold and how much would it cost? Any recommendations ?

Swing a dead cat and let go in any direction. you will hit 3 tuners.

I don't like recommending any. Cost wise 5 Star tuning is the best bang for the buck. Wengerd has a good rep on this board.
