It took less time than I expected knowing how long some warranty claims can take to progress; I first contacted Ford UK in late December, the car went in for body shop assessment and photos in early January and Dinnages came back to me last week to take the car in this past Monday as the parts had just arrived. All in all just under 3 months since I kicked the process off and 2 months since the assessment.I saw the new body shop manager last Monday at Furrows - he's quite new in the role but looked at my car and said you need a new bonnet. He said ring back in July and we will book it in for Aug as he's swamped with work. Does this sound OK or do you think I'll get to July and there's little chance of it happening so soon after due to how ford treat us?
Interestingly they did say that mine was the third Mustang they'd had in this week for warranty bodywork although mine was the only one needing a new bonnet.
