There are those that will say if you drive it any before water is dried you will get micro-scratches after drying it off. I also drive mine down the street and back before drying it to keep rotors from rusting and then dry it. Mine is white with blue stripes so micro-scratches don't show as bad. But if you drive car at all you will get micro-scratches that are visible in direct sun light. And dark (especially black) colors show them more. I just the other day saw a brand new black Corvette at my GM dealership they parked outside and the side the sun was shining directly on you could see micro-scratches. You can buy products that will temporarily cover them but I guarantee if you have a dark color you will in no time see them on car again.
