Rust dust after washing.

It's a wheel/tire cleaner. Spray on, clean, wash off.

You asked how it works. You spray it on, agitate and clean, then wash off. I've never dried afterwords. It's a wheel cleaner with rust inhibitors built in. It has worked pretty well for me in keeping rust off the rotor.

well your second answer is a bit closer but still misses the point. the context, if you read previous posts in this thread, is how P&S compares to what i use, rust preventative. i can simply spray a wet rotor and it dries by itself w/o rust forming. that is the issue at hand, if P&S is identical to that. i am not looking for a wheel cleaner. i am looking for a similar product to RP that is touchless. hence, i asked the guy who said it works like that to comment.

I've had zero issues with rust, I've just washed it off, cannot comment on what you use as I've not used it, just stating what works for me. I use it as a wheel cleaner

what i am saying/asking is this: if you have OEM rotors, after washing your car your rotors will turn rusty (if you just let them air dry). wait 20 mins and they are brown with rust. so my Q is, about the P&S: does this product PREVENT that initial onset of rust immediately following the washing of your car? and if so, what do you do specifically to prevent the rust?

with the rust preventative, you simply spray the rotor while wet and let it dry. it is touchless. and there is no dried rust afterwards. does the P&S work the same way? i am not asking if the P&S can be used to scrub away the rust. i am asking if it PREVENTS rust simply by applying it to the wet rotor.

Yes it prevents the initial onset of rust after wash.

The p&s is not used to scrub rust off. Its kind of used like your preventative except that it needs to be rinsed off. Since it is a wheel cleaner and I use it as a wheel cleaner, I simply spray it on making sure to get a good bit of the product on the rotor, agitate and clean the wheel, then rinse with water. It should dry without rust.
