I hope that's what the issue is. I am not too too worried about it - because it is very hard to see even when looking for it - but still worried enough to ask about it 😅
Haha I get that. Especially since your car is only a year old. You have time under the 5 year warranty period, probably worth watching to see if it shows up anywhere else then get it fixed before the warranty expires

Did you ever figure this out?

I have a similar bump on my passenger door. Maybe 1/4 of an inch wide and 1/8 of an inch as a bump. Perfectly smooth. No bump or damage on opposite side. Smooth and hard dump - no give to it. See pictures below:

I brought it up at my dealership once but my rep wasn't sure what it was and since it showed no proof of corrosion I didn't think it was worth pushing it to have my entire panel stripped and repainted because I'm pretty sure Ford would mess that up. I'm just keeping an eye on it every time I wash my car, but it hasn't changed at all. I just find it odd that it showed up after a year and wasn't there before. I just wish I knew what caused it to show up now as opposed to while sitting on the lot? I'm guessing heat or changes in temperature possibly?

It looks very similar to @sirben711 which appears to be what Ford calls “popping”. It would be covered under the paint corrosion warranty but similar to sirben you have some time left on the warranty. Probably best to wait a bit and see if it pops up anywhere else. Found this on PPG’s site. Seems something to do with the solvents used.
