  1. Per Ford (officially) the 2011-2019 F150/Mustang 5.0 “Typewriter Tick” is a normal characteristic

1st one had the tick which didn't concern me that much, but it was consuming oil beyond a normal amount. I had the oil consumption tested and the cylinders were found to be scored and filled with burned oil residue. Once the findings were sent to Ford the short block was approved right away and...
  2. Per Ford (officially) the 2011-2019 F150/Mustang 5.0 “Typewriter Tick” is a normal characteristic

I'm on my 2nd short block and 3rd oil change on the new engine at 20k miles and the tick is there. It's been there on the 1st engine that got replaced and on the new engine as well.
  3. Passenger rear wheel sticks out further than drivers side...WTF

I firmly believe there isn't a fix for it if the bushings still didn't fully correct it
  4. Good Cabin Air Filter for 2020 GT?

The time has come to replace the factory cabin air filter. Can someone recommend a good one or the best ones available? I plan on switching out myself so I don't mind spending a bit for a good quality filter.
  5. Anyone Else Have Progressive Insurance?

Hello fellow GT owners, I live in SoCal and I recently switched my insurance carrier to Progressive since they offered a lower rate. However I've been reading lots of negative feedback on their claims department, the process in getting repairs done, claims paid, and worst of all when a vehicle's...
  6. Leak!! Area behind passenger flooded with water

Mines a 2020 and I don't know if there's holes behind the small stickers. I tried my best to reach them to feel or peel back, but couldn't quite get there. I'm surprised you were even able to reach the top stickers without taking off the door.
  7. Leak!! Area behind passenger flooded with water

Holy crap no way! What model year is your mustang?
  8. Leak!! Area behind passenger flooded with water

What about What about the smaller stickers at the top of the valley, its right behind where the door hinges? Are yours still intact?
  9. Leak!! Area behind passenger flooded with water

Yea it's ridiculous. If anything the top sticker seems like it would cause more leakage since any water coming through the hood and a-pillar gap will pass that hole first. For whatever reason the middle sticker seems to peel away first for everyone dealing with this. For sure Ford knows the...
  10. Leak!! Area behind passenger flooded with water

Did you also glue the smaller sticker that covers the hole at the way top? It's a bit harder to reach and see since it's behind the door hinge, but I noticed that smaller sticker also peels away and can cause water to get through.
  11. TSB 22-2242: 2015-2022 S550's A-pillar water intrusion/leaks

I need to get this done, but the TSB doesn't address the smaller sticker that peels away from another hole at the very top behind the door hinge. It only addresses a fix for the middle one with the largest sticker. Both are peeling away on my driver side. I've circled the area where the smaller...
  12. Leak!! Area behind passenger flooded with water

Is that hole at the very top the same size as the middle hole? The sticker on the top is obviously smaller but I don't know if the hole is actually smaller or the same size. I'm hoping I can use the same size plug for the top and middle hole assuming the hole diameter is the same. Can anyone...
  13. Leak!! Area behind passenger flooded with water

Someone on reddit posted their update and a TSB for this specific issue. The TSB fix is to plug the 2 main holes with a rubber plug, but it has no mention of plugging the other 2 holes that sit at the top. Both stickers (small one at the top and main middle one) are peeling way on my driver...
  14. Leak!! Area behind passenger flooded with water

I'm late to the party but does someone have a good DIY fix? I see some people used super glue on the old stickers, duct tape to replace the stickers or tape over them, and also some kind of rubber plug? Which way is easiest and most effective without having to remove the doors?
  15. Leak!! Area behind passenger flooded with water

What exact plug did you use, type, size etc? Do you have any pics of the DIY fix?
  16. Leak!! Area behind passenger flooded with water

Where'd you get those fresh stickers to cover the holes?
  17. Door buzz/rattle that is eating my soul

Loud doesn't mean better, and I wouldn't trade my exhaust for any other.
  18. Door buzz/rattle that is eating my soul

yea I'm still impressed by my old 2010 Honda Accord that is still without a single rattle or buzz inside, super quiet.
  19. Door buzz/rattle that is eating my soul

Hey there, I'm hoping you can give me some direction or advice on what exactly you did inside your door panel to finally stop the buzzing/rattle. I have buzzing that's coming from the corner of the door panel where the tiny red doorlock lightbulb is (all the way left from your red circle in your...
