Too funny, I also have the Ruby Red/red leather combo. Never thought I would see it elsewhere, and all over the forum people rave how great the red seats look with _x_ color...with no mention of Guard, Comp, Triple Yellow or the two reds. My Ruby was someone else's special order (another car that he discovered on the lot won a coin toss) so I knew options weren't random. Usually I am one to immediately notice a color "clash" (as in clothing) but for some reason it does not apply here. I didn't notice the uniqueness of the mix for several months, which was a complete shock to me. Somehow you are so distracted by the beauty of the red leather once you get inside that you don't make the connection between its color and the completely separate punch of the stunning exterior Ruby color. I only noticed it when I had the door open in the sunlight and stood at a certain angle admiring the car as a whole for awhile. Maybe the dark dashboard makes it harder to notice? Dunno. The brain works in mysterious ways. (At least mine does :headbonk:)

At any rate, I fell so hard for the thing, I would never change any part of it.
Beautiful choice, my friend. Enjoy the hell out of it.

I have the same wheels on my Ruby. A couple weeks ago as I was about to get into my car a guy in a BMW drove up to tell me that out of all the stangs he's seen around San Diego (and there a lot of them now), this is his favorite combo of color and wheel style. :D

Seems these wheels are a fairly unique option around here, according to my dealer. He may be telling the truth; I have only seen them one other time, on a Guard vert. (Granted, the car was not moving. :p)

Please pardon me if you saw it on another thread...
By Mt Shasta in Weed, CA, on a break during my long road trip last month. Filthy, but still purdy:love:

Running Pony badges on my 15 RR GT

Also posted this in the DIY section. Don't know about any other colors but the RR really makes these pop and look great. Looks just as sharp as the running ponies I have on my 65 dark red coupe. My son-in law who owns one of the best and largest body shops in the SE bought these and put them on. They're real chrome and are attached with a sticky backing. He says if I change my mind he can take them off without any problem to the paint. I know there are some who are badge haters out there and that's fine with me. So far I really like the look.

I like how there's a left and right pony! Nice attention to detail.

I think the badges would also look good on those cars without anything on the fenders. (I4 & V6) I've always thought there should be something there.
