So the last couple of times I've driven my 2015 GT, I'd hit the right turn signal (yeah, I'm one of "those" people who use them) and I noticed a rapid cycling of the interior indicator. I know this usually means a problem with the exterior light so I decided to check it.
It turns out that...
I feel your pain. My 2011 (ordered in 2010) had delays. i was getting highly upset seeing other deliveries and not getting any answers about why it was delayed. Eventually it got released. It was a quality hold. The car had issues that were all taken care of under warranty (including a new...
You have other options:
1) Buy off the lot
2) order a 2016 Mustang and wait longer (or maybe not!)
Mustang friends don't let other Mustang friends buy Challengers. Just sayin'.
Just a quick update on mine... 600+ miles on it now. Mostly commuting which is actually pretty perfect for breaking it in. Sometimes I go 70. Sometimes I go 7. Usually it's somewhere in between!
Hitch is on. Roush exhaust is on. Taillights tinted. Windows tinted. Curb Alert is a work in...
Thanks for the tip.
I thought about that but drilling seems easier (after reading the sound tube delete thread). I have grommets I can use for the hole so it's not a big deal. I was just trying to avoid it.
I'm on the fence about the sound tube. On the one hand, Ford put it there for a...
Heated/cooled, yes... but I thought the memory seats were part of the $1800 convenience group with the BLIS.
I have a GT Premium and no memory seats for me. Well, not really. They're memory seats if the girlfriend remembers to put them back.
Stock mufflers, yes. Roush Performance Axle-back, no. There's enough room. I think a better way to do this would be to "keyhole" the winch plates so that you can just push the whole thing forward after loosening the bolts and let it drop down. On the side-mounted bolts this might be a...
Husker -- thanks so much for posting photos! I've looked under that hood for nearly an hour looking for a place to run this.
That place on yours ... I have stuff going through already. My guess is you have an automatic? I'm pretty sure that's where my clutch fluid line runs into the cabin...
Yeah... this thing is "simple" but also generic.
Connect black to a good ground.
Connect red to an ignition controlled power source.
The other connectors (for the speaker and the sensor) are very specific -- a mini-USB for the sensor and a mini stereo plug for the speaker.
The real...
A couple of problems I see with this install even though it WILL work.
1) You shouldn't wire directly to the battery -- it will create a parasitic drain on the battery. And although minimal, it will draw power. It should run to the fuse box to a circuit that is only powered on when the...
Funny... I went to install mine today and the wiring to the fuse box wasn't the issue but the running of the sensor wire from the front of the car through the firewall was! I quit and decided to finish this another day.
I didn't WANT to drill a hole but that's where I'm at right now. Drill...
Got my Roush Performance axle back exhaust installed. Hardest part was mentally accepting that I was taking a sawzall to the car!
So while that was off, I installed the curt hitch for my bike rack.
Note 1: Exhaust is a breeze. 10-15 minutes once you have it up. 1 Sawzall, 1 15mm deep...
I am home. With my non PP car. I can't imagine ever hitting the limits of my car and then exclaiming, "Dang... Should have had the PP.". That said... If you have the money to spend... It is cool.
