Y'know as a standard-issue American kid growing up in the 70's, I knew to the very core of my being that Corvettes and Trans Ams were the best looking cars in the world. Know what? This is better (framing notwithstanding). And I have one of these sexy beasts in my garage (different engine, different color, but it's all good).

Absolutely stock, that picture was taken as I was taking delivery at the dealer lot.

Also posted this in the DIY section. Don't know about any other colors but the RR really makes these pop and look great. Looks just as sharp as the running ponies I have on my 65 dark red coupe. My son-in law who owns one of the best and largest body shops in the SE bought these and put them on. They're real chrome and are attached with a sticky backing. He says if I change my mind he can take them off without any problem to the paint. I know there are some who are badge haters out there and that's fine with me. So far I really like the look.

I would like to see that badge in place of the 5.0 emblem. Looks great!

Anyone care to show pics of their ruby red with painted calipers? Trying to decide between yellow or red calipers on the black wheels.

I've been thinking about this too... but I'd like the calipers to match the ruby red paint of the car...

I think g2 has the mustang line where they would match the paint. It is like $100 though and not just the $40.

Yellow was interesting to me until the McDonald's car posted above

I know it's a video game but what's everyone think about white stripes with the ruby red? I'm planning on doing white stripes and white wheels once I can get my hands on some coilovers.

The stripes look pretty great I think. I always said I was going to get red with white stripes if I got a Shelby some day.

On a somewhat related note. I think I'm going to do my brake calipers red, but the torch red color g2 carries. I think it is the perfect mix of dark red color without being the same as the ruby red body and the more orange race red
