If I remember it correctly these people are contestants on American Idol. Not too long ago they did a segment with the idol group on what "would you do with a mustang for a day". It was cool…besides the Ruby Red which you can see and hear racing around with these two singers in it they also featured a few old school mustangs. I taped it and watch it from time to time…mainly due to the fact that Ruby Red is the color my new GT with PP will come in! Lol….

I'm sure someone probably has it up on youtube. I'd be surprised if they didn't…..and no, I don't watch American Idol….lol

Car looks great! Can't Wait!!

I was so close to ordering that color myself. I decided against for a couple reasons.

1. It wasn't a "new" color.
2. It's reportedly fairly hard to keep clean. - This didn't bother me too much, as I'm not one who cleans my car religiously anyway. But, I do prefer cars that "look" cleaner than they are.
3. I didn't like it with the black PP wheels compare to other colors. Looks fantastic with some of the other wheels, but didn't did the black ones on this color.
It's a pretty color but Yes, it does require rigorous cleaning to maintain. Trust Me, My Dad regrets getting Ruby Red on his 2013 F-150 after having His last Silver F-250. So if you're not the type to rigorously clean your car Ruby Red Is Not the Color for You, for that Matter neither are DIB, Black, and more than likely Magnetic or Guard. Dark/Darkish Colors Require Extra Cleaning. As for the Black Wheels I Hate Them No Matter what Color they're on.

I have no idea who those people are, but they're ruining a good photo :D
I don't watch American Idol anymore either, but my wife does. These two were the two top contestants. I believe they each won their own version of that car (I ordered the EB4 version). I guess you are allowed to lean on it when it is free.

Note: There will be NO leaning on my Ruby Red Mustang, well, at least for the first 10 years

Wow this car looks gorgeous! I'm getting Ingot Silver and I thought the black PP wheels looked best on Silver, but man was I wrong... that Ruby Red looks beautiful with the PP wheels.

Your choice will produce zero regret and much admiration. It will be stunning paint on a stunning car.:headbang:
You have a way with words.
by the way, the black PP wheels look much better in person. they sure don't photograph well. IMO a nice gunmetal would be perfect.

Pablo,

I agree...gunmetal wheels would look great on this color. I've been struggling with wheel choices so I will have to go aftermarket. I like the 20's but don't want to pay the big cost to replace them and I am not a fan of the 19 Premium Wheels although I think 19 inch tires will be a good size. I like the black PP wheels but I don't want them staggered.

I guess nothing is going to be easy with this car...lol.

Why didn't they offer ruby red with the saddle brown and do the saddle up with a door panel insert. Best combo for this car.
