Yup, terrible choice for the PP cars, IMO. The car just gets lost in that photo.

I went to two Ford Dealers today to look at colors on present-day Mustangs, and the Ruby Red was truly stunning on the Mustang or just about anything, even a Fiesta. The depth of reflection and the varying amount of red light it gives off is really amazing, especially in full sunlight. A very close second was the Deep Impact Blue, which was also beautiful and lustrous, but just barely fell behind on its varying radiance; the paint on the Ruby vehicles just seemed deeper. The Race Red on a Fiesta I saw (not seen on a Mustang by me today) seemed ordinary and not as good as other manufacturers pure reds. May have to find another 300+ dollars for the Ruby Red.

That Deep Impact Blue though...

When I went to order my mustang, I had narrowed it down to black or ruby red. Fortunately for me there were two two 2014 mustangs with those colors sitting side by side. Needless to say, my Ruby will be arriving 129 days from now (give or take a month)

Your choice will produce zero regret and much admiration. It will be stunning paint on a stunning car.:headbang:

I have to wait until February:eyebulge:when my BMW 335i lease expires! At least I get to plan and order way before that date. It will most likely be Ruby Red due to today's scouting mission. Now, Ecoboost Premium or GT Premium???? Hmmmm... Perf Pack for sure!

Phattyhales, every time I want to look at Ruby Red to maybe reconsider it as my color choice, I always choose the photo's you shot. You sir need to take photo's of the Magnetic GT with PP lol. Only then will I really be able to compare :) As of right now still sticking with Magnetic. To me it just makes the car look more muscular, at least in the Beijing pics.

that is a first test: how will the car look with a lowering kit at the front axle...
i guess, they will just use other springs and dampers instead of manpower

Ruby Red really is the best colour.
I was so close to ordering that color myself. I decided against for a couple reasons.

1. It wasn't a "new" color.
2. It's reportedly fairly hard to keep clean. - This didn't bother me too much, as I'm not one who cleans my car religiously anyway. But, I do prefer cars that "look" cleaner than they are.
3. I didn't like it with the black PP wheels compare to other colors. Looks fantastic with some of the other wheels, but didn't did the black ones on this color.
