Bought a set of RTR tech 5 wheels 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 for the 17 GT. Running 265/40/19 in the front and 305/35/19 in the rear. Rear wheels are +45 offset. Seeing how these wheels are for the s550 mustang I didn't perceive a issue with running a 305 on a 10.5 wheel. So my issue is that the tire sticks out a tad from the rear quarter up top. Anyone seen this I did a search but couldn't find anything. Sorry if this has been addressed before. Even with running 285 tires that American muscle has in there tire wheel package there is only a .8 inch difference between those and the 305's I have. So that would only take pull the tire in .4 in. So that wouldn't completely solve my issue. Pics were taken after I installed the wheels at work today. I love the wheels. Also I haven't tried to see if I can pull the camber on to solve this and still be in spec. I'm not really a fan of the stanced look either.

Offset Calculator says you have more fender clearance with the 10.5 +45 than 11 +50. Probably just bulge from the specific tire running a little wider than average.

Also, can you post some 3/4 view pictures? Those wheels look good, and I haven't found any owner pics other than yours.

Just run another .5 to 1 degree of negative camber and you'll be fine. That would be the easiest fix.

I like them everyone has the tech 7's so I chose these. Love the look

it's a mickey thompson e/t street S/S tire so I figured that was a lot of it.

Those wheels look really good!

However, that rear tire is bulging a good amount and the fact they are fairly wide for that size is the reason.

I've seen 305/35/19 on RTR Tech 7 wheels with various performance radials on them and they fit flush with the fender.

Your cheapest option if you want to keep that tire is to add more neg. camber as mentioned to bring it in.

Allow me to ask the following.

1. What offset is the rear wheels?

2. 305 on a 10.5 buldges the sidewall a bit so that there.

Yeah, the wheel fitment seems fine, tire looks excessively wide. I mean, a 10.5 wheel is just a touch small for a really optimized fitment of a 305 (but I prefer my wheel/tire to be flush).

Maybe a smaller sized 305 (since there's some width variant between manufacturers) or drop down to a 295.

Nevermind I noticed I was blind as shit yesterday.

10.5 ET 45 checks out as a standard fitment, 305 works on that setup all the time, adjust the camber slightly -1.5 to -2 or so and it should help resolve this poke. ( GTPP comes factory -1.5)
