Roush vs Corsa

For those curious, a drop of 10 decibels is a perceived difference of about half the volume! (Or maybe a less confusing way of saying that is, a 10 decibel increase is about twice as loud)

Anyone have vids yet? Or did I miss it

Have you heard the ATAK with an h-pipe? Would like to hear this setup

There was a short vid of it floating around on FB a while ago. Someone swapped out the x pipe from the atak catback. But the vid wasn't all that clear. I'm intrigued by the idea because it should be fairly simple to swap out the roush axle back for borlas. It looks like they line up the same so there's probably no further cutting required.

They don't line up. Roush requires more to cut than FRPP and Borla ab's. You'll be short on pipe if you have roush first

Really? Did you test this out or know someone who did? Well that's a pain in the ass.... I could have sworn I read in one of the older threads that someone tried it or had it confirmed by one of the vendors.

Just from looking at both instructions the cuts are in two different places. Also you can tell the amount of pipe coming off the back of the muffler on the Roush is longer. So more pipe has been cut off of the factory exhaust compared to a Borla or Ford Racing axle back. There is less cut off with those axlebacks.

My Corsa sounds high pitched because of the combo Kooks.. it gave it that high pitch sound.. Catback alone is loud enough and sounds deep.

Ya just by watching the install videos on CJ Pony Parts for the two different exhausts you can tell that they cut at different places so probably wouldn't work out. Not much difference but still enough

Been visiting this video for the last few weeks now. Love the sound of this combination. The last few seconds slowing down sounds beautiful as well. Waiting for my SC installation before deciding on the kooks.

I just ordered the Corsa Sport AB from Hypermotive. Those are the same mufflers as the Extreme but I wanted to try them with an H pipe instead of the Double X, so I went with UPR. Jayman gave me a sweet price and put up with a lot of my noob questions. I highly recommend doing business with them. Now I must practice the art of patience as I wait.......

I have the Roush AB and the cut is at the very point where bend stops after the stock muffler so I can't see where there would/can be and less pipe being cut for the Borlas? You would be into the bend going to the stock muffler if you left it any longer? Doesn't make sense.

Will do. All I have is an iphone 6 for the vid and I took a before vid that sounded like junk. I was in the airport parking garage and that likely affected it. I need to figure out the optimal distance to record from.
