Hi, I have a 2017 GT that currently has a Magnaflow Street Cat-back on it. I am looking for something louder, but I am not sure between the sport or extreme cat-backs from Corsa. My initial thoughts were to get the extreme because it is clearly the loudest, but then I had second thoughts about it because it is my daily. It's not the drone I'm worried about, it's that I can just see myself in a few weeks getting incredibly annoyed with hearing so much noise everytime I accelerate even if it's gentle. I've only ever heard the Xtremes once from a guy I went to school with, and I loved the sound, but I've never actually heard it in person from inside the car, so I have no reference for interior volume. So then I thought about the sport because it's slightly softer, but i thought for 1500 bucks, I'm not sure just how much louder it is over my current setup. I would be fine with just trying the Xtreme first, and if it's too loud I could find someone to trade with or sell it on eBay for a few hundred bucks cheaper and just go with the sports. So my question to all of you is this: For anyone who has heard the Magnaflow Street Cat-back, is the Corsa Sport Cat-back $1500 worth of more sound? Or for anyone who currently has the Xtremes on a daily driver, was it worth it? or are there times when you just want the car to shut up

You need to ask yourself an honest question, will you ever go headers? If so, stick with the Sport. If not, go with Xtreme. Xtreme sounds great when stock. But when making the switch to long tubes, not only is it louder but changed the tone to more trumpety. On LTH Sport definitely sounds better.

I daily mine. What you will find is down low the Xtreme is actually quiet. So in neighborhoods etc you can easily control the volume. It screams when you get on it obviously. And 0 drone which is a definite plus.

My exhaust journey on my 18 GT went like this:
Stock
Stock mufflers with x pipe- louder than stock but too tinny
Corsa Xtreme - sounded great
Corsa Xtreme mated to ARH direct connect LTH- much louder but tone changed to a less desirable trumpety noise
Corsa Xtreme mated to ARH direct connect LTH with Vibrant 1794s welded in - helped kill the trumpety tone and brought volume down
Ended up cutting off the Xtreme mufflers and Vibrants but keeping the Corsa double x mated to ARH LTH. Added AWE Touring mufflers. I found the combo really woke up the lower rpms while still screaming up top, still 0 drone.

It all comes down to that first question, will you ever be going long tubes lol.

Corsa extreme for sure, its not that loud if you don't accelerate hard all the time.

Let us know if you'd like pricing.

☝ said it all. Xtremes with headers sounds awful (in my opinion) there is no tune, just screaming sound. I had borla extreme which is almost as loud as corsa xtremes. With stock manifold it sounded just right, but when I added the headers (with cats btw) I just couldn't drive the car. So I sold the borla and bought corsa sport and now I can't get enough of the sound.
