Hey guys, Ive got to ditch this roush canned tune!! The car cruising in 4th gear around town is atrocious as far as surging driveability. I also can't wait to feel the power bump that everyone also claims about having an aftermarket tune. So I guess $650-$800 is the norm for a tuning a supercharged car?? I have no experience with having a SC car tuned only N/A. I see people are really happy with Lund tunes for the TVS blower cars any thoughts on tuners? Thanks guys!

Lund is who I use and have nothing but good things to say. Still working on a revision now, but it’s feeling good! I also have a Roush car and use the Ngauge.

Lund tuned here as well, love it. Smooth, no surging throughout the rpm range, no funny idling, doesn't run lean anywhere, just good stuff all around. I had the install shop install their own tune, but went with Lund a few weeks later or so. Noticeable difference, picked up more hp as well. He had me add a couple items before I datalogged with him. I had a Lund tune when I had my GT350 intake manifold also. Great guys to work with in my experience with them.

I don't have a tvs and I am Lund tuned but from all my experience reading about tuning BPD is the best when it comes to tuning roots and tvs superchargers.

I went with Palm Beach Dyno and a slightly modified Level 2 package which is VMP BAP, 56lb injectors, NGK6510s, 3.125" Pulley, K2 Filter, IAT Harness and tune. The results were pretty drastic. This thing rips even on crap ACN 91 octane. Tune is much smoother and power delivery is buttery AF.

Thanks for the info guys, has anyone had to have the Roush tune updated, this tune has a small buck in 4th at 30-35 when cruising through town! Gets on my nerves honestly, is slight buy still annoying! Any ideas on what it could be ive tried gas from several stations 93 octane. Beefcake I think you will be seeing me soon! Thanks guys!

Any idea on the hp limit to the 56 lb injectors?

We have used Lund Racing on all of our shop cars here at Lethal Performance and can tell you first hand that is the route to go.

We also normally run their tunes with their Lund Racing nGauge programmer. Let me know if we can help out at all and I would be glad to assist!

I used VMP with the logic they make/sell nearly identcal systems to the Roush so tuning this TVS should be right in their wheel house. I'm running their 93 octane tune with my Roush P2 kit and the car runs very solid. Datalogs look great and I love having Livelink to see what the car is doing.

When I was trying to make up my mind, I PM'd several people who were running PBD and Lund tunes with their Roush blower and all had good things to say. Sounds like these are well understood systems with several good tuning options.

Blubyu, I have a stage 2, tuned by Cody from StangHi Performance. I have had Cody tune two of my Stangs over the past 6 years and I have never had an issue. He has fixed many issues from others' tunes. He is one of the best and most knowledgeable about Roush super chargers and anything mustang. give him a look.

I had the same exact issue as you have stock. Went with a local tuner and all is well again. It wasn’t bad but very annoying.
