Roush Performance Packs 2015-2016

Decided to get the flash pack on my auto gt to see if power gains from the tune are as advertised. I'm in service center awaiting completion of flash pack + oil change. Will give feedback from butt dyno and then try to get some actual dyno results asap.

Keep us updated, how much did the dealer charge to do the flash?

My thoughts on this is that it should be a great tune, the Ford / FRPP will be the exact same just a different badge as Ford/Roush/FRPP are neighbours and work very closely together.

My theory is this will be great because it will simply work just like a Whipple tune works, the calibration is written by Ford/Roush engineers and the car adjust power accordingly to octane rating automatically, no need for specific octane tune as the ECU on our cars has settings within it then when enabled allow it to automatically pull or remove timing within reason, so if you fill with 91 you will make so much power, fill with 93 maybe a bit more and then fill with 87 less, but no running issues and no need to datalog.

Its a proper tune that is safe and written by the people who manufactured the engine, so nice and safe.

I'd personally go tune only with a panel filter.



P.S. You can flash yourself no need to go to Ford or Roush, just download Roush RDT software, install puma drivers and get a universal OBDII J2534 cable for $30 and do it from your laptop.

If I already have exhaust installed, or a gt350 Intake manifold can it be flashed and can I still purchase the warranty

Does anyone know if someone who ran 93 octane would get any additional HP from this tune? I believe the advertised results were from running 91 octane?

Ok I appreciate that, but that's pointless of roush to do that. I guess I'll just take my chances with a Lund tune
