Lots of misconceptions in this thread:

1) there is no 5/60K powertrain warranty from anyone on any modified car - period !

2) as soon as you drop in a tune or add a s/c, Ford is going to give you a hard time on any powertrain related warranty claim - this includes Roush, Petty's Garage etc. build cars sold thru Ford dealers

3) Roush warranties THEIR parts for 3/36 if you purchase a Roush build car or have the kit/performance bits installed by an authorized Roush installer

4) Roush covers all the components Ford is dropping coverage on for 3/36 IF you buy a car they built/modified (go here -->> http://www.roushperformance.com/vehicles/mustang-2016-stage3.html scroll down to the "Our Promise" section & click on the ROUSH Supplement Owner's Guide to read what is covered p.25 - p.40)

5) Roush covers the components Ford is dropping for 3/36 with the Kits & S/C's IF you buy their extended warranty & have them installed by an authorized Roush dealer. The extended warranties cost between $500 - $1000 depending on what you are installing. There is a link to the appropriate "Optional, Extended Warranty" in the product description/features list of each kit or S/C eligible.

6) Adding the 727hp, Phase II upgrade to ANY car (inc. the Roush build cars) voids even the Roush powertrain warranty.
I stand corrected. I guess if you want to know something about Rousch don't ask your Ford service advisor...:headbonk:
