Also, correct me if I am wrong, but once you install the Roush valance, you can't go back to stock.

Hopefully Roush will chime in on this....has anyone noticed how the active axle-back looks like a stock muffler with a second tip added? If you look at the video on YouTube of the yellow stage II you can clearly see stock appearing structural ridges (bead rolling) on the back of the muffler. I could be completely off base, but who knows.
Similar, but it has been modified for the extra tip which will be the one controlled by the active system

Curious why didn't you guys replace the stock resonator as well?

This system is really made for the per title serialized vehicles that we run on our production line. Being a manufacture we are held to some strict standards thus the resonator needed to stay. We may offer some resonator delete items for SLP in the future though.

Will the active part be for only 2 or all 4?

I think just two. if you look at the install video you can see that you can undo the block that is there when you buy the exhaust to open it up and get a deeper tone that's the same thing that the active does but instead there is a flap that is controlled by a computer that opens and closes when you set it. I think if you had all 4 it would cause too much back pressure and cause the car to shut off.

Might have been a big reason for the quad tip but don't people do the electric cutouts on dual exhaust?

I am ordering mine in a month or so. I spoke to one of the Roush guys at the Charlotte Autofair and he said that the module should be ready for the "Active Ready" exhausts in about 2 - 3 months but wasn't sure how much it will cost. The Roush cars already come with the electronics for the Active exhaust built into the car so it will be easier to setup and install. He said there is supposed to be a phone app that will allow you to control how loud (how open the baffle) the car can get. Not sure if that is only for the Roush cars or the cars with the separate module or not. I hope the part isn't too expensive. I think that would be cool.

I just want to know why it HAS to be installed on a Premium Package car only. What is the difference between the base bumper and the Premium cover? If I have to buy the premium rear bumper so be it.

The premium bumper has a painted piece that is removable. Which makes it a two piece bumper. were the base is a one piece bumper so yea if you bought a premium bumper it would work. Or maybe a shop can figure a way to custom fabricate it on prob would be cheaper to do it that way a lot more cutting and def not reversible when finished but it's pretty much the same way with the premium.

I have my 2013 GT500 quad tip exhaust and it had a great sound and I think the Roush Valence will be the right opening for it. If I need to get a "Premium" bumper cover then so be it. I can paint it in my garage no problem. That will leave me with the stock axle back (modified to be replaceable) and stock bumper cover if I ever decide to put back to stock and sell. I just need more pictures of a Premium rear cover and also the Roush parts.

Yeah, I saw that earlier and was going to post up the link but had to leave work before I could post it. Thanks for that. I see why it needs to be on a Premium bumper cover. I am looking to see what the cost is for me on the cover and the valence now.
