Im Def doing this when I get alittle cash Prob in June I do like the Shelby gt350 rear valance better who knows when that is going to be out...
The GT350 looks cheesy, The pipes are not actually connected to the tips, more part of the valance, not a fan of that. :headbonk:

Hopefully Roush will chime in on this....has anyone noticed how the active axle-back looks like a stock muffler with a second tip added? If you look at the video on YouTube of the yellow stage II you can clearly see stock appearing structural ridges (bead rolling) on the back of the muffler. I could be completely off base, but who knows.

From what I've seen the active part is just unbolting the block off plate on 1 of the tips on each muffler. Look closely at the picture and you'll see what I'm talking about

Any idea on when the active part will be available? Very interested.

I really like the active exhaust concept. The issue with this solution is it retains the stock resonator. Also, it'll likely be north of $2k.

The axle back is already out and available. It sells for less than 1k. You do need to buy the rear valance which is around another $200. I do not believe that the active "module" that should be available this summer will be more than $800. So you should be able to have this setup for under $1500(my assumption) total.

This is the system that I am going to install, I will be adding the MRT H-pipe to it as well though since it does retain the stock resonator.

Waiting for active part to purchase. Only company I see doing it but I guess it's not too common.

I think you are way off. I already saw something from Roush stating ~$2k price for the axle back + the active module. In addition, as you mentioned, you need the valance. Add in installation costs if you don't DIY and you are looking at ~$2.5k.

We're looking to hopefully have everything ready come June, as for price I'd expect an MSRP ballpark of $2400. This would be for everything, exhaust, valance and the actually active valve, wiring harness and control module. It will run off it's own computer system.

Well alright, you got me. I never thought the module would be more than the axle back. I guess I need to start reconsidering this active thing, might be easier to swallow the cost of the passive and just call it a day.
Thanks BTW..

From what I understand the active portion is more than just a switch. It's a user programmable computer. You can program the valve based on throttle position, RPM...etc. I also saw something about BT capability. It's very interesting, but yeah, pricey. Maybe if it was a full catback...
