Heavy footing around town I’m only getting 13-15 mpg.
I guess they hold around 15 gallons.
Straight highway should get you close to 300 miles if you are driving calm and reasonable speeds.

14×15=210

There ya go, worst case 210 miles. Planning other than worst case is futile. Get on the road and keep an eye on the DTE and alter as your bladder and highway milage dictates.

Kleiss, That depends how far down do you usually let it get before you refuel?? In my driving I get around 23 where I live and that gets me about 300 mile before the low fuel light first comes on.

Figure 300-325 miles if using all interstate and cruise control.

If you have a stick you can hit about 25 to 27 mph taking advantage of the fuel shut off that happens when you're in gear with no throttle. I get better gas mileage around 2000 to 2300 rpms when I use quick bursts of throttle then back off completely as opposed to cruise control <2000 rpms. Not much torque down there so it's more throttle for longer durations. Also try to stay in gear as long as possible when coming to a stop. In gear + no throttle uses less fuel than neutral + no throttle.

A few weeks ago I drove from PA to FL and back. Just under 1,000 miles each way. Lots of 90 mph + on I95. I averaged just under or over 28 mpg both ways. 2019 GT convertible A10. I did leave the top up the whole time, party for less noise but mostly because I had lot of stuff on the back seats.

On any long trips driving 83-84mph, I typically get 27-28 mpg with a 2020 gt pp1.

On my recent 2000 mile trip I averaged 24.5, and that was with climbing a lot of mountain passes. I'd expect 25 ish in your situation.

I just finished a two week road trip from Boston area to South Dakota, Wyoming,CO etc…80-90 MPH and sometimes 100…my 63 year old ass was fine but it was my bladder that bothered me more.
