I recently had my alignment done and have the GT350R front springs, BMR SP085 rear springs, so my drop isn't as big as yours, but still enough to relate. Bumpsteer and road-following got better after the springs and dampers for me. It's great now that the car is aligned, as well.

My settings:
Front Camber -1.5
Front Toe 0.0
Caster 7.9

Rear Camber -1.5
Rear Toe 0.30 total (0.15 deg per side)

Car tracks straight, accelerates straight and grips very well. -2 camber is a lot for street use, tbh. I wouldn't go much higher than -1.5 unless you're frequently tracking it also.

Increasd negative camber and stiff sway bars will tend to make a car follow road irregularities even if it isn't lowered. When my car was last aligned we added 1/16 more toe-in at the front which did help settle the car down a bit. (I have the FR Track Handling Pack).

I am leaning towards the alignment causing the problem.

This is what I am thinking is causing it. I don't think it has anything to do with suspension travel up and down, which is where bumpsteer would become noticeable.

I don't think anything has changed. Only that I noticed the bumpsteer improve after the install but the alignment I wasn't happy with from the beginning. And as I drive it more and more it has gotten more annoying. I think the negative camber, cross camber and toe settings being off is the main culprit, which becomes made worse by my stiff suspension.

This is what I set up my customers with for streetcar alignments. This isn't from reading, but is from my experience on my cars and our BMR cars.

Front:
Toe: in .05 per side, total at .10
Camber: I usually always like -1.5 on street cars.

Rear:
Toe: in .12 to .15 per side, NOT to exceed .30 total toe
Camber: I usually like about .25 to .50 less out back, compared front. So I would do -1.25 (with -1.5 front)
Thrust Angle: ZERO

Please keep in mind, I am a big fan of these being consistent and split evenly. For example, you said you have toe of .01 and .06......that is not acceptable to me. I prefer and set my cars up just about exact. If the total toe is .30 then each side will be .15....or maybe .14/.16....but nothing more than that.

Thank you Kelly. As usual you are helping type of guy. I will take that recommendation and make sure the alignment shop does this. I don't like the idea of the toe being inconsistent either. Seems to me that even 0.05 difference side to side could have a bad effect. It seems with toe that small changes mean something. I remember on my previous alignment I had 0 front toe on both sides and I had a noticeable increase in steering response.

Do you think that adding the LCA bearing would have any impact on what the toe settings should be? Or no need to worry about it?

I do not change my recommendations when LCA bearings are present.
