I have a Ford Racing touring exhaust system for sale. 50 state legal. It also includes a borla resonator that can be used instead of the x-pipe to make the system quieter. The system is in good shape and has less than 5000 miles on it. $700 OBO shipped.
I’m looking forward to some reviews of these. I had Öhlins on my Lotus Elise and thought they were great.
The published spring rates are still puzzling to me. Typical front spring rates for our cars seem to be between about 190 and 250 lb/in and rear rates seem to be in the 800 to 900 lb/in...
I have the track handing pack and am also very happy with it. The ride is better than stock on some surfaces (freeway hop), but can be worse on other surfaces.
I like that fact that it is an integrated package where the springs, shocks, and swaybars have been calibrated to work together.
The article in motoIQ power pack 1-3 test thread (http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=92949) mentioned that Ford updated all three power pack calibrations, not just 1 & 2. I just checked and found that indeed there is an update for PP3. (No update was available when I last checked...
"Works fine on any computer (PC, Windows only AFAIK - mac doesn't work)..."
Incorrect, there is a Mac version of procal. I flashed my car using my MacBook Air.
2016 Mustang GT, 6 speed performance pack. Ford Racing Touring Catback, Ford Racing Power Pack 3. 5th gear, 79.5 degF, 29.44 in-Hg, 15% humidity, 388 ft above sea level on dynojet. Note, redline is 7500 rpm, but speed limiter? cut in at about 7150 rpm. Might have seen a few more peak hp if pull...
Pretty much. My numbers are not quite as high as the numbers LMR showed in their video, but I did get a baseline dyno before installation and I gained around 40hp.
There were some issues during the baseline run. The dyno operator did the pulls in 4th gear and the tires were slipping on the...
I have PP3 and the Steeda clutch spring. The car has "stuttered" on 3 or 4 occasions when shifting at or near redline. One every one of those occasions, I'm 90% certain that my foot was still touching the clutch pedal. As long as you can break yourself of the habit of leaving your foot in...
Dustin@LMR posted overlays of pp2 and stock in the pp2 video threads that looked much better than the plots in the video. Perhaps he can do the same for pp3.
