Just ordered these last week in 425/500. Can't wait to get them. Hopefully it feels like a go cart. Not a daily so the stiffer the better for me

So guys looking for some info, I talked to Josh a couple months back on these but give it that I'm absolutely clueless on coilovers I need some help. First question is, does adding preload to the springs increase the height of the car or does it lower it? Second is spring rates, my car is not a DD and will see some auto x/ track day events and drag racing from time to time so any input there would be great. I'm not wanting to lower my car any more than say 1.5" drop Max cause our roads are crap and my driveway is super steep lol. Should be buying a set next month, hoping for them black Friday specials

Tell josh you want 400/500 springs and a 1" taller rear eyelet. You'll be good

also 8" springs in the rear if you plan on doing aftermarket axles.

That is what I was thinking, but what about the front? Won't it look a bit unbalanced?

Mine isn't any lower than it was with Steeda linear springs.

I have Oem suspension but my front and rear tires are exactly the same. So, from my observations, the ride height of the front and rear is exactly the same in PP cars, it just looks like the front is higher due to having a smaller diameter tire on Oem setups.

I suppose if you keep the same tire sizes as OEM the eyelit would balance it out. But this is just an assumption.

I've currently got frpp axles as it is, so would for sure need the 8" springs then

Awesome! Let me know if you need anything .

You're correct! When the kit was released, some were sent out with 10" springs and were close to the axles. A quick change to our materials list and now all of the kits are sent out with 8" springs and have a drop mount in them equaling clearance for whatever axle you're running :headbang:.

It really wouldn't be that noticeable of a change to the naked eye. For the guy who wants a little taller of a ride height, it would be a nice addition to the kit.

Hey Josh, what did the change in springs do to the overall weight of the kit? Do you have a total weight of the coilovers (front and back)?

There may be a 1lb difference between the pair of 8" and 10" springs, it's not much at all. The coilover strut in the front (pair) is right around 30lbs. The pair of rear coilovers is 12lbs.
