My EB has begun hanging onto revs, as though the throttle were sticking open, which makes it lurch from gear to gear (manual). I have no engine mods. Does anyone know what I can look into to resolve this or am I going to have to take it in?

Had a similar problems with one of my tunes. I assume your car isn't tuned but but whatever is causing the issue would probably be quickly resolved by the dealer reflashing your car with an update.

Had the same problem with my Manuel GT when I first got it. Everytime I upshift, the car would buckle. Then I started to pay attention to the RPM and notice the car is designed to hold the next gears RPM for a few seconds. You can try by accelerating then when you want to upshift hold the clutch down for 5 to 10 second and see how it reacts. If it goes down to a certain RPM and holds it for 3 second then drops to idle that's how it was designed. Or atleast I come to accept it and noticed the shifts are almost perfect all the time (less friction on clutch:ford::clap2:).

Unless it's hanging excessively, they all do it. Helps with gear shifts.

Ford has been doing this for quite sometime now. Its annoying as hell...from my understanding its to promote better emissions and fuel economy. My buddies FoST does it as well as my FiST along with a buddies 2014 Mustang GT. It holds the revs up there for a second or two waiting for you to shift.

What doesn't make any sense to me, though, is that this didn't start until after 3,000 miles. It behaved normally until recently.
