Under normal driving conditions I can climb through the gears with no issues. However, if I am wot and shift from 5th to 6th, when I release the clutch the revs stay high, almost as if they are stuck. Then the revs drop quickly almost to a stall. This has only happen twice in the last week. At first I thought it was my driving, like holding the clutch to long at the top. But, today I released it quicker than normal, and instead of the stuck in high revs, the revs fell sharply where I had to downshift to 5th. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Just to say you tried it, turn off the traction control and do that shift again. TC can do some really strange stuff. It was strange enough with a mechanical throttle. Just a hunch.

Sounds like your clutch might be slipping.

Yet another possible Darwin Award finalist in the making...
When someone comes on here to ask a question, there is always a risk of running into the assclown that has nothing to add to the conversation other than saying something stupid. In your situation, I am going to go out on a limb here and state that you don’t know your ass from a hole in the ground when comes to Darwin, otherwise the irony would slap your toothless melon. Idiot.

That was my first thought as well, although not an expert. I’ll take it in to have a look. The transmission seal has already been replaced after I found a leak a couple of months ago.

I will give it try, thanks.

Curious myself. Not sure what would cause that. On a side note....how fast does one have to going to shift into 6th at that rpm? Lol
Live in a rural area in the panhandle. Lots of open roads and some long straights. I have had her up to 120 a couple of times just to get the rush. She starts to loosen up quickly though! Edit: typo

If the revs are staying high on a 5-6 shift is the shift really occurring.
