so far so good, sync 3 is miles above the original. no freezes, everything is much faster, and its gonna be even better whenever they implement car play.

Thanks Sloppymax, I took it apart today and re fit it, much better, my issues were definetly due to the wiring harness. much better now. thanks

so that means I have to redo it too huh? what a pain in the ass. at least it can be fixed, think ill do this tomorrow.

sorry for the grainy pics. Its not that bad, you can barely see it , but you can feel it a little when your fingers wrap around that part of the wheel. first pic is the left side, right see is the same, plastic end doesn't fit all the way in. second pic is the bottom and it fits perfectly...

yeah let me know what happens, its a real nice wheel and feels dramatically different then stock. took me a while, redid everything twice for some reason but just watch the videos a couple of times and you'll be fine.

yup, its really tiny, but the bottom one is perfect. not a deal breaker by any means, Im sure ill get used to it. Just confused as to why I couldn't use the new wheels wire harnesses.

Did guys who have auto with paddles have to re use their original wiring harness from their old wheel? I noticed that the cable harnesses from the 350 wheel didn't fit the harnesses of the paddle shifters. I also couldn't get the black plastic piece to sit fully flush, so now I can feel it...

I do have to use the feature. I paid for it. Doesn't matter if it's a bmw or a civic or shouldn't allow someone access to your home. My wife's explorer doesn't do it neither should mine.

Well thats a huge safety issue, I usually park in garage but when it snows i usually leave my car outside. Now someone can get access to our homes if they get into our cars? Someone from ford needs to address this if this is true, It would really cause me to think twice about accepting my car...
