Mine works in ‘S’ for sure but I can’t tell you about ‘D’ since I refuse to use that mode 🤣

Isn't this setting only on the manuals? I don't see it as an option in mine. Maybe I need to start the car first?

I think I figured it out
In sport it'll rev match when you brake and gear drops.if your driving in sport and just let gear change to lower gear it won't rev.but if you step on brake it will rev match to lower gear.I have power pack on my 2019 which describes what im seeing so guess im good.im thinking thought it's not really rev match because when I went to track apps where rev match setting is I don't see anything

In my 2020 Bullitt, rev match works in all the modes I use.
Don’t know about snow mode?

meh, even if my car had it I doubt I would use it…that’s half the fun, trying to time it juuuuuuust right and then schmucking it up, until the next corner 😎

Isn't rev matching for manual transmissions? Or am I missing something about how modern automatics shift?

I have a 2016 GT Premium 6spd auto with paddle shifters on the wheel. If i'm slowing down I can use the left paddle to gear down like a manual and it does rev match. This works in normal D mode. As soon as you accelerate it returns to normal operation.

Toe of the foot on the brake, heel of the foot on the gas, that's why they call it heel/toe downshifting.
If the brake/gas are close enough together it's even easier, just use the left side of your right foot on the edge of the brake pedal and you can cover the gas with the right side of the right foot which makes it simple, just roll your ankle to blip, then downshift. Easily done on my Mach 1.
I turned off autoblip in the settings.
I do it with an arthritic right ankle from a broken ankle a long time ago. If I can do it, anyone can. But then again, I've been doing it for 55 years......
