I appreciate the info. I'm one of the few techs with barely any comebacks.. especially alignments. Not even trying to brag, just a fact at the shop. I have pictures of my alignments on the mustang, all "within specs". But sure, I can adjust the tie rods and center the steering wheel that way, without being within spec.
I did at least learn a little more about clocking the bushing in the IRS.
Regardless, I shouldn't have asked anything, my fault.

This is no longer a thing. Steering wheels are not splined. They go on one way.
Well color me OLD............ Last steering wheel I had off was on my 06 Jeep Commander which was splined. Just looked it up, it is a hex, clearly too much.
