  1. Rear Camber

Sounds like I'll be ordering Steeda arms and BMR lockout kit soon!
  2. Rear Camber

You saying you first tried the Steeda adjustment kit with the eccentric bolt? With BMR arms as well? But ok, I think we agree doing the lockout is probably better.
  3. Rear Camber

Oh interesting, never seen the AAD style. This build ill be keeping a Steeda theme
  4. Rear Camber

I only mentioned BMR because only they have a "lockout kit" for the bolt that goes through subframe and arm. I guess I'm more so wondering, "should" you use the lockout kit with the arm? Installing a new arm with the slotted notch seems a little sketchy
  5. Rear Calipers

Was wondering about aftermarket rear caliper options that get rid of the screw in pistons? As of right now I've seen Baer, with both 11" and 12" rotors. Which wheel sizes come into play that make you decide between 11" or 12"?
  6. Rear Camber

So I know there's factory adjustment. Was wondering what is best aftermarket option for better adjustment. I've seen adjustment kits which add an eccentric bolt. Apparently they are a pain on the driver side. I've seen lockout kits, only from BMR. Would the lockout kit and adjustable arms work...

    nvm
  8. Trans Mount Shifter

So I've already purchased everything, hopefully working on the car at the end of this month. I am keeping the theme with Steeda parts, since the car came with some parts already. I was gonna try the Street Short Throw Shifter from Steeda, which isn't trans mounted, to test it before going...
  9. Lost Clutch

Hello again, I didn't want to start a brand new thread to ask this question. I believe I will be getting a Vengeance Stage 2 Clutch Kit. Lethal Performance seems to be one of the better/reliable sites. They offer an extended warranty, which on papers sounds like a good idea, but maybe for a...
  10. Lost Clutch

Was thinking about a McLeod RST or RXT. Saw mentions of the engagement point in the pedal being high which I would not like. I see a lot of recommendations for Vengeance, maybe Stage 1 or 2? I also like LethalPerformance and shop there before. The used clutch was supposedly a LPXHD kit, maybe...
  11. Lost Clutch

Sorry that had to be autocorrect. I've been looking at too many throwout bearings to not know the spelling. Even this being my first trans pull, I got people around to help, watched a video and have access to ProDemand and feel confident. I really love these S550s and plan on working them a lot...
  12. Lost Clutch

Appreciate the input everyone, thank you. I am trying to think of this as a positive upgrade lol. Also looking into the work, it doesn't seem too difficult, even it being my first transmission pull. My only question now, how can I tell if the hydraulic Clutch Master Cylinder behind the pedal is...
  13. Lost Clutch

I will check that. To be honest, I haven't popped the hood yet. Just got it in my garage until I get parts. No idea if I leaked fluid either, but now I have things to look for.
  14. Lost Clutch

My plan right now was a new clutch master cylinder, and both steeda lines. But both assumptions lead to popping the trans.
  15. Lost Clutch

EDIT: Hello again, I didn't want to start a brand new thread to ask this question. I believe I will be getting a Vengeance Stage 2 Clutch Kit. Lethal Performance seems to be one of the better/reliable sites. They offer an extended warranty, which on papers sounds like a good idea, but maybe for...
  16. Retorqueing IRS

I appreciate the info. I'm one of the few techs with barely any comebacks.. especially alignments. Not even trying to brag, just a fact at the shop. I have pictures of my alignments on the mustang, all "within specs". But sure, I can adjust the tie rods and center the steering wheel that way...
  17. Retorqueing IRS

Lol well I've been the one doing the alignments, at the shop I work at. Always line it up in the green and never had an issue. Only my car has kept the crooked steering wheel, never had to change the toe out of spec to straighten the steering wheel.
  18. Retorqueing IRS

Yeah maybe it's clocking the bushings. I noticed the rear control arms, where the springs sit in, the bushings look like they are tearing. So I was thinking retorqueing it would at least help it, since I got the car how it was. Wasn't sure if I was dog tracking the rear, and that always caused...
  19. Retorqueing IRS

Sounds good, I'll give it a try. Was difficult trying to retorque the IRS anyways lol.
  20. Retorqueing IRS

I thought about that too, felt like that would just trick the numbers to compensate for the steering wheel, and effect tire wear?
