No offense taken. The welds look crappy, but it gets the job done. You won't see me having mirrors under the car at a car show..
I'd just be afraid of them not setting correctly and crumbling. As long as they guarantee their work though.

For me there is way more to it than that. First off just cobbling up my 60k dollar car. Next there's the issue of will it stay together or is one of those nasty welds going to come apart and allow the exhaust to fall to the ground where it could dig in and be jammed through the floorboard (I've seen this happen). I get it, it sounds good and was cheap. I'd rather pay triple than know I have that under me.

Again, I mean no offense to the owner of the car. I'm just a very picky person and believe if you aren't going to do it right don't do it at all.

I know, I'm a dick. Sorry :headbonk:

Me crazy, and I can't help myself
It's mig welded, it wasn't tig'ed, most run of the mill exhaust shops don't have the equipment or skills to tig stainless. That being said the look of the weld matters less than the actual penetration of the weld, too hard to tell from these pictures, to be honest with thinner wall exhaust pipes i'd be more concerned about blow through and holes than i would be with not enough penetration.

Hey guys - quick question.

Has anyone regretted their resonator delete? Thinking of pulling the trigger this week and am curious if anyone regrets it.

Zero regrets here. I did it 3 days after buying my car and I've loved every minute of it.

There are lots of people who regret me removing mine. My wife, mother, people across the street, guy down the road, and anyone in a Prius.

Me, I love it.

I think obsessed garage guy isnt a huge fan, one or too others but it seems most love it. I would of done mine but finding a local place is oddly hard. Might grab the corsa X pipe and do it my self if it gains some power.

I wouldn't say regret but if I had heard a car that had it done and my car side by side before hand I would not have done it.
