For those of you who have installed new wheels with new TPMS valves...what was required to get them to sync?
Thanks

My new wheels came with non OE sensors, they wouldn't sync. Had to by the tool from CJ.

You can drop by Discount Tire - they will program them for free. Or buy the $30 training tool. If you have OEM Ford, they will sync on their own.

If you he the Ford part # sensors, it should be automatic. I added my new wheels about 8 weeks ago, never had to do anything with the new sensors to have them work correctly.

Had new a 16 GT350 and 17 GT350
My dealership took the front wheels (with tires on them) off the 2016 I traded in for my 2017 and put on the 2017 and the front wheels/tires off the 2017 on the 2016 and I was surprised but the tpms all reset themselves on the 2017. Reason for switch had a little wiggle in steering wheel on the 2017 but the 2016 didn't have it. It was decided one or both wheels may have been a tad out of round. Only had 3000 miles on the 2016 tires. That was the easiest fix since they were courteous enough to do it.

If I rotated my wheels and tires, everything should sync up automatically for the new side, right?

I put the left wheel/tire on the right side and visa versa for the front and rear. I have PSI readings on the cluster for all four corners but I wasn't sure if the readings were mixed up.

For example, if the front-left tire reads 36 PSI is that really for the front-left tire or is it for the front-right tire because of the rotation?
