I have a 2018 mustang and it comes with LED bulbs, but I cant seem to find any information on aftermarket LEDs to put in, or how to change them out. Anyone know the bulb type or if the headlights LED bulbs are even replaceable?

I’m not sure they are serviceable. Is the headlight broken or is there something in particular you’re trying to achiever (color, more output, etc.). If your light is out Ford should warranty it as is led and the manual says it’ll last the lifetime of the vehicle. If you’re looking for something else and the light is fine I would recommend just leaving it as is since I doubt any aftermarket options if any exist would be anywhere near as good as the oem lights.

Why would you want to change the factory LED bulbs? They are far better than anything you are going to find aftermarket. And if you are talking about the tribar lighting - it involves opening and resealing the headlights. The head lights are not cheap if you do it incorrectly.

I dont want to open the lights, just was wondering about replacing with brighter LEDs if one of mine ever went out, or if there were any aftermarket superior options.

The replacement cost for each lamp is $1000+ from Ford and the whole unit is sealed for life I believe. Pray it lasts a lifetime!
Just another reason to consider an extended warranty if you are going to hold onto your car for any length of time.

For brighter LED bulbs just wondering if mine burned out...
How much brighter do you need? The factory S550 LEDs are one of the brightest LEDs out there and with the high beams on, you’ll blind the sun…

As stated a few times in this thread, the 2018+ LED headlights can’t be “upgraded” and there is no “bulb” to replace. It’s an integrated and sealed unit. If it goes bad, you either go to Ford and buy brand new at Ford retail cost of nearly $1k per side OR you search on eBay, LKQ or salvage yards for a used $300 replacement.
