Nice to see some former GTI owners here. I had one before my WRX and am looking for an Ecoboost now. Glad to see you're both happy with it

I see you haven't done any additional mods either ;)

What CAI you going to run with? I'm considering going with FFTEC for their intercooler, intake and charge pipes...

since they'll have turbo upgrades coming. I also like how their exhaust sounds :)

Yep..holding off until I see what COBB comes out with but FFTEC Intercooler and CAI are on the top of my list right now also. Exhaust if gonna be magnaflow most likely as it sounds just like it did on the GTI which I really liked.

I REALLY want to see the turbo kits that come out also so I can plan my build around that pricing. Hopefully it's not more than the K04 we did before

Nice build thread, i'm looking at a PP EB Mustang or a MK7 GTI with their PP also. Price is almost the same when equipped how i want them. I've had more rwd cars than fwd but the new GTI has almost non-existant torque steer and i haven't driven one with the VAQ diff in it yet.

I like both cars, the GTI would be more practical and probably get better mileage but the Mustang is impressive too and has a lot of aftermarket support and parts seem to be cheaper. I really don't know which to get, can you post some more interior pics? I don't want the Premium but i do want Recaro's so trying to see how it looks. Also does your car have satellite radio and if not do you know if it can be added?

Thanks,
Joey

This car has a much better cockpit than the GTI with the exception of the awesome
Steering wheel the GTI has

You want a sports car or a hot hatch...once you answer that you can pick the right car

Thank you, i like the GTI seats especially with the plaid. I like the recaro's too although i haven't sat in them yet. I'm going to have to drive them back to back, both cars are great and have a lot to offer. I just want to get one i'll be happy with for a long time and not get bored with. I'm going to try to wait until 2016's start coming out and hope there will be some incentives on leftover 15 models.

Mishimoto catch can installed today.

Really should have metal 90 degree fittings as the plastic ones seem to tight and round out when using a wrench. Also the hose that connect to the block lays on the intake manifold...hopefully no rubbing issues

Mine and a buddies came loose after tighten them as much as we could. After they came loose you could thread them all the way in.
