WOW :eyebulge: That's awesome! Is that the hospital? lol

Let me know when you get the pictures up of your wheels!
That's one of the casino parking garages. ;) I parked next to him and he was gone when I left, so I'm sure he saw my car. I don't think he's a member of this forum, or if he is he's a lurker.

The pictures are up in the MRR M350 thread on the Wheels and Tires forum. They're not the best pics but I wanted to get something up for Paul.

You must drive like granny.

I have been averaging 19 mpg the last 4500 miles. Good mix of traffic and highway miles during my daily 60 mile (round trip) commute.
My car gets romped on quite often, I definitely don't drive it conservatively. I think it helps I never drive in big cities so 95% of the time the car is on it's actually moving instead of sitting there idiling getting 0 mpg.

Once my new intake manifold shows up and I get it put on I doubt I'll be seeing any kind of decent mileage :D

I have about 3800 miles on mine and redline it pretty much any chance I can. Just his week I told myself no more using the 0-60 timer in traffic, lol. My running average is 16.1 mpg according to the instrument cluster.

I got about 6,000 miles on my Ecoboost and I don't think I have ever been over about 4,800 rpm....

I redlined today for the first time. Had no idea the lighting in the gauge changed color. How did I not hear about this before??? lol

I have my gauges in blue light and when I hit the redline the whole gauge went red.. I was like.. Oh shit and Oh nice about the same time :)
The first time I seen that gauge changed colors, it scared the hell out of me. I thought I broke something because I had only seen it for a quick second from the corner of my eye. The rest of that day was nice and quiet until I read more about it later on the forum, lol.

I can get to redline in 1st occasionally, but even redline in 2nd is pretty fast for our roads, so not very often. There's something to the notion that driving a slow car fast is more fun than driving a fast car slow. This car can be frustrating. Lots of capability and not a lot of opportunity to let it hang out.

Just out of curiosity, how many times do you guys redline your car everyday?
In strictly street driving I hardly ever go past about 85% of redline. But I'll commonly run up past 75% of redline in any of the three cars we own.

On a road course, I'll be running up very close to redline every 20, maybe even every 15 seconds, or about 200 - 300 times that day. I don't go anywhere near 3000 miles between oil changes when track days are involved, though, around 1000 tops.

damn, I need to move out of the Bay Area - I don't have room to floor it anywhere around here
Serious, I had to go to an abandoned military base just to go do a burnout today.

Q: What rpm does the stock auto shift at?

I was wondering what my speed-in-gears were (3.15's).
