It's MORE of a track pad compared to the Z23. READ.
I can read just fine. Understanding is the trick that you seem to have not yet figured out. Neither one of those are suitable for track use. Powerstop’s own site reads “designed for extreme STREET breaking performance”.

Again, I never said the Z26's are a track pad. So we can agree that they are not a "dedicated" track pad. Now back to enjoying your scheduled power outage. God Bless TX.

Thanks.

I actually bought the Z23 pads... a co-worker said he has used both on the same car, and he thought the Z23 pads dusted less than the Z26's.
But I have NO history with both, so take what I say with an ocean of salt...!!!
Trying to decide on Z23 or Z26. I have a 2018 GT350. Did you use the Z23 pads on a GT350 and if so do you have any issues with them. Thanks for your help.

Dave...if you didn't piece it together throughout this thread, there's really no reason to not get the 26. The only difference is the 26 has nice heat shields on the piston side of the pad, and the 23's do not. Tons of guys running them on 350's and I've never heard a complaint. I have them on my S197 car and they are great.

You said you bought the Z23 pads and a coworker said he felt they created less dust than the Z26. But you are saying there's no reason not to buy the Z26. Are you happy with the Z23 pads and would you purchase them again? And do you feel there's no reason not to buy them also? Really appreciate your opinion.

Would you buy the Z23 pads again or would you go Z26?
Thanks,
Dave

The co-worker had them on a VW Jetta diesel... and it was his thoughts on which dusted more. Someone on here said they are the same material; I have no knowledge of the material differences or similarities. Since I have not used the Z26, I have no direct comparative evidence to say which dusts less, or performs better. If they are indeed the same material, I would think they would dust and perform the same.
I have no complaints with the Z23's. They performed well on an aggressive North Georgia Mountain Run..... no brake fade noticed; the track may be a different result.
They do not bite as well as the OEM pads, but I was tired of washing the wheels so frequently.

Thank you. Z23 it is. Really appreciate you sharing your experience. Z23 and Z26 are same material per Power Stop rep.
