Can't say I've seen that before. I'm a rider too....looking to get back into it with the warmer weather.

I don't keep mine on a tender and it has sat for a weeks to over month, during freezing temperatures, with zero issues. I'd say it is car dependent.

Looks awesome. Good lighting is a must. My garage had four standard bulbs in the ceiling. I replaced all four with LED lights....wow, talk about bright.

Considering the amount of work to repair the previous OTT strips, plus having Pete Brock do the new OTT stripes, the extra cost is definetly reasonable. I would not be surprised if an owner would pay the same or close to the same amount to be able to claim Pete Brock did the work.

General maintenance is not cheap for a BMW. Because they are European you need specially tools to work on them, its not like you can hop on down to your local parts store. A full rotor and brake change will run you at least $2,000.00. My wife has an X1 and had a 3 series coupe before that...
