Nope... you had to get the special R ones. Even the KIA red ones weigh less than your black ones.
It’s not rotating mass so my heavier calipers won’t matter much. Besides they are grey anodized or something other than paint or powder so I’d say they are lighter.

2017 GT350 now gone to a great home.
Having thrown those calipers around up front I can tell you they are damn heavy, red or black. Kia, not sure....

So, are you implying that those of us with R’s have the lowly, simplistic KIA treatment simply because our cars have red calipers?
The red caliper guys are the new Sneetches on the Beaches... Google it!

Dude, you have to understand red = fast. Don’t deny your mind’s ability to recognize red as fast...

For instance, someone posted a thread that they were regretting Race Red cause cops were harassing him. You don’t get that treatment with black stuff.

That is one thing I do not like about the HEP R's, they should have done it in black, or in Guardsman Blue. I feel the red clashes too much.

Do the red ones make the car stop shorter? I've always wondered which color gives the best performance.

So if I paint my wife’s Subaru calipers red, she’ll be able to stop quicker than me?
She says she can use nail polish in Brembo red.

Listen, if you want performance, go red... if you want to be run-of-the-mill, go black. Lol

@DrumReaper I don't think some of these people are catching your sarcasm :-D

But everyone knows Red is the fastest color. Why else would Ford call it Race Red?!

I’m all magnetic metallic and black....stealth mode. Red would just get me caught.
Heck I’m ready to pull my blue stripes. No I won’t replace them with red.
I did yellow callipers on my race red

Did you do a before and after dyno run?
I’d bet the yellow cost you 5-6 HP across the power band. I could be wrong though, sometimes my calculations are off a bit.

I was simply wondering why the 350 didn't have red calipers. I now understand it is the R that gets them. I'm glad we don't. Red calipers are a PITA to keep clean.
Brake dust is brake dust. And the stock brembos will cake up your wheels and calipers the same. Letting it go longer just means more cleaning time. Unless you change brake pads. Which is what I did and now I have zero brake dust. Good luck.

Yellow should net 6hp at the crank. Red would’ve gotten him a solid 12.
