So, are you implying that those of us with R’s have the lowly, simplistic KIA treatment simply because our cars have red calipers?
And what about my GT500, it came with red calipers as well?

I'm not JR369 & I don't know what pads he is using, but I switched to Powerstops and have no more brake dust.
I recently drove several hundred miles since the last wash, then went on an abusive Mountain run in N. Georgia.... there was still almost no brake dust.
Whatever you switch to, get the Caliperfection stud kit for the front...!!!!!

I actually bought the Z23 pads... a co-worker said he has used both on the same car, and he thought the Z23 pads dusted less than the Z26's.
But I have NO history with both, so take what I say with an ocean of salt...!!!

It was a placebo effect. 23 & 26 are the same pads except for the heat shield/backing plate on the 26.

Yes the brake material is the same. The Z26 pads have the metal backing plate for better heat dissipation. More of a track pad I suppose.

It's MORE of a track pad compared to the Z23. READ.
I think JR369 is referring to this:

Well I'll be.......!!!!
I wonder if the Z23 dusts less than the Z26, since Powerstop mentions the less dust when talking about the 23's, but not mentioned when discussing the 26's?
This goes back to my earlier post about a coworker who said he thought the 23's dusted less.
I still have no personal experience with both on the same car.

It does not. They are the same pad minus the heat shield on the back of the 26. I find it highly unlikely that heat shield would influence dust.
