My son has the Recaros in his GT500. He thinks they are OK, his girlfriend hates them. I wouldn't like to sit in them for more than about 1/2 hour. I think they feel like you are in a race car, which isn't much fun all of the time, unless you are actually racing.

Damn. I am not trading in my car for wider seats. I am down almost ten pounds since my crown was done almost a week ago. Another ten and they will be perfect.

Just got my 2023 Australian GT delivered with electric Recaros.

EU cars get powered Recaros.

It's just the USA that misses out for some reason.

I have the cloth Recaros in my Mach 1 and I really like them. I do miss the power, but the heating and cooling I don’t really miss with the cloth. I guess I will see how much I like them when I drive 4 hrs to Mach Track Attack in sept.

It’s amazing what options some of you S550 folks get with your vehicle… us lowly GT350 folks get so few options. At least we get the VooDoo option when we spec our Plain-Jane car.

When I first got my car, I drove for an hour nonstop on my heated/cooled stock seats and ended up with a three day low back pain. Im glad I got these seats though because it allows for a much higher number of seat adjustments. Ultimately, I found the sweet spot and I’ve yet to readjust them. Also, you can configure 3 presets. I have a high seat for long trips, low for lively drives and a medium for daily.

EU cars get powered Recaros.

No, only the RHD Recaros are powered.
LHD EU Recaros are the same as LHD US Recaros, all manual.

The LHD Bullitt Recaros are geometricaly and regarding comfort the same than the LHD GT and LHD Ford Performance Recaros. Mach1 Recaros should be the same.
Only GT350(R) and GT500 Recaros are different for sure.

So there are regarding comfort and geometry 4 types of Recaros with leather, fabric or alcantara:

• LHD (manual, no heating/ventilation)*
• RHD (powerded, no heating/ventilation)**
• GT350(R)
• GT500

*Option Code 88S, 883 and Ford Performance M-63660005-MF​

** as far, as I know, same comfort and geometry as 88S, 883, M-63660005-MF​

PS: Of course, the choice of fabric or leather as a trim has a certain influence on the seating comfort, but I will neglect that here.
