I have put my car on a Jenny Craig diet and so far by weighing the new vs old parts in at the following.

And in also looking at these recaro profi spa seats which are less then 15 pounds each. The stock track pack / R seat is 49 pounds driver and 46 pounds passenger. So about a 65 pound saving

That's 194 pounds weight savings.

you'll need to factor in mounting hardware for your weight calc's. The main advantage to the stock seat is safety...it's got the torso airbag in it.
But you're right, factory seats are typically boat anchors compared to good shell seats.

John sent me a new revised tune today to data log on. I sent him the log and awaiting the new tunes.

-42 pounds. Removed rear seats, belts, trunk liners, tire compressor.
-56 pounds. FORGELINE GA1R open lug 11x19 and Michelin pilot sport cup 2 305/30.
-11 pounds. American Racing Headers and off road X pipe.
I'm waiting for a carbon fiber driveshaft which I'll be optimistic and say I'll save -20 pounds.

what offset did you go with on the forgelines for front and rear?

Since a 19x11 will fit with a 305/30R19....

I'm wondering if a 19x12 with the right offset would fit on the rear with a 325/30R19.

Wrap those forgelines in R888s and ill bet the car sticks like glue.

If you're racing at all, just be sure that such a light seat is legal for those events/classes too.
Most any sanctioning body will recognize FIA legal seats, where as stock seats are often not. Most of these seats would be stronger than stock.

That's why I always take weight out of my cars. Gotta keep it fair. Plus the profi comes in an xl, so it'll be more comfortable and lighter. Win win.

I see the weight savings on the wheels and tires, but do you know what the stock front and rear wheels weigh by themselves?

I have not really lost any functionality because nobody in their right mind would sit in the back seats anyhow unless they are a Ethiopian 10 year old kid. I Like the stock front seats, but they are to heavy. Other then that I love them.

One reason for getting the 350 vs. an R was to have rear seats for the kids. I'm guessing what you meant to say is the rear seats are nearly unusable for adults unless you are kid sized?
