Changing the Recaro Seats!

Good day to you all,

I have Shelby GT350 with Recaro seats ( Alcantara, without heat nor cooling ).

That was fine for a year, but now I really want to install other seats, unfortunately the ford in my country doesn’t sell the leather seats at all!

Could someone point to me where do I order the leather seats ( preferably; Recaro ) that have heat and cooling,
of course with the wiring for the buttons.

Also, the below picture is from my car;

The yellow circles ( without the buttons )
I will buy and install the full cap to be able to use the heat and cooling buttons, below;

Aha, I didn't know about that actually, I just assumed that they do come in this option!

If that the case I prefer LEATHER SEATS WITH HEAT AND COOL OPTION.

Does anyone have a picture for the OEM seat with heat and cool for the GT350?

You are correct never with heated cooled seating

These are the seats that come with the convenience package (with heating/cooling option). They have pretty good support in my mind. Although I do not track the car regularly.

Just to confirm; the original leather seats don't have any logo or writing on them? ( Shelby / GT350 )

Also, don't forget to upgrade your alternator to a 200amp.

They have GT350 embossed in the area just below the headrest

Actually they do have the gt350 lettering on them. Forgot about that.

Yeah they have the GT350 lettering. I am not sure why it is not showing up in that picture.

You can find the seats by searching on Ebay. There are a few auto dismantlers in the mid west that have those kinds of seats from time to time. I have found them before...just have to search Ebay. BUT its not a straight swap as your current wiring harness doesn't have ground or hot lead inserted into the plug under the seat. I did your swap but just put in powered cloth seats from a GT Mustang...no heat or cooling. It was tricky but I had the dealership do it. The wiring harness either had to be modified or replaced coming from behind the front left kick panel. It's been a while so I'm a bit unclear on it now. It can be done but I'm not sure about the heating and cooling. And Niz55 brings up a good point about the alternator rating. I didn't do the heat or cooling only the power...no changes to the alternator.

To bad you don’t live in the states. I have a buddy with a 2016 GT350 that has the leather seats. He’s been trying to find the Recaro seats but can’t find them anywhere. Y’all could’ve swapped.

Does your friend still have the seats to swap. I have a 2017 350. I'll swap seats with him. I'm in Ga.
