I was just playing around with the 2019 Mustang configurator on Ford's website. When I add the PP option, the configurator changes the interior image to include Recaro Seats (in the wrong color, no less).

I also don't see a separate option offered for the Recaro Seats.

Do the Recaro seats now automatically come with the PP option? Or are they a separate option that the configurator simply doesn't offer?

I'm not certain, but I believe the Recaros now require 673 (Performance Package Level 2), or at least so with cloth. When you select 673, the Recaros become an add on option (MSRP $1,595). The charge is the same for leather, I'm just not sure if leather also requires 673.

In playing some more, this seems to be a convertible thing. :(

If I, instead, select a GT fastback, adding either the PP or the PP2 option doesn't change the seats. Its only if I intentionally select the Recaro seat option, that the seats in the interior image change to Recaro (as expected).

Its only if I select the PP option for a GT convertible, do the seats in the interior image change to Recaro on their own. I'll assume that this is simply a configurator bug. One doesn't actually get the Recaro seats.

The configurator is all kinds of screwed up. I'd ignore it at this time.
