Does anyone know if the Base Mustang V6 manual adjustment seat can be used in place of a Base/Track Pack Recaro from 2016 MY? My wife just can't stand the Recaros and I'm looking into replacing it with the standard Mustang seat.

I asked my dealer and they said no way to know unless they had a V6 (which they don't) and could measure. On a side note, I had them price a seat and it was over $4K (ridiculous). Watching online salvage locations and Ebay.

Really wish I had just waited for 2017 and got the Convenience package.

Sorry, let me clarify. The original Recaro would go into storage. Not going to split the seats up in case I sell or trade someday.

If it's a width issue look at the Recaro profi series. I'm a bigger guy and plan to buy a pro xl. Should shave some weight in the process. Will come out a lot less than 4k.

Sorry, I like the Recaros. Since I'm not willing to take losses on changing to '17, I'll just do a single seat swap.

All of the factory seating options should have the same fitment. With that being said, I'd convince your wife to get used to the Recaros lol
