Here's an idea? Don't slide down the seat to get into the car! I know some people may have a hard time with the concept, but there is a correct was to get into a bucket type / large bolster seat..... you go in sideways!

If you are standing between your door and seat looking straight ahead at the left side of the hood of your car. . .Turn 90 deg to your left and put your bum in the seat first, then turn your legs (now positioned knees towards to door panel) 90 deg. to the right into the car and voila NO BOLSTER RUB!!

I know people with bad backs or not ideal leg/knee strength may not be able to do this. . . then I'd suggest NOT to get the RECARO seats.

This is gonna sound like a childhood song, but...I put my right foot in and then my hand on the door sill to hold my weight off the bolster as I slide sideways over it. When I get far enough to get my elbow on the center console pad, I use it to keep some of the weight off the seat as I get my fat ass adjusted properly.

And then usually I have to lift up again and get my nuts out of my crack. Ahh, Recaros...
