Recall (22S37) for Reverse Camera, etc - Repair at Home

This is new to me, the Ford dealer will send a technician to my home to reflash the PCM with the update. I was wary of taking the car to the dealer because: I didn't want to wait there for hours; and I didn't want them driving it. Win, win!

Although the dealer has a Ford Garage bar nextdoor so that's a nice place to wait except I am not driving the Mustang after 2 beers. ;)

I never had an issue either and sure hope the "update" does not mess up anything. Recalls are not under warranty, since it is a potential safety issue it has no time limit that I know of.

Oh wait.. it’s done through the pcm? I have a tune by Lund. If they somehow mess it up then I’m screwed. I have a sc installed and wouldn’t that override that?

Where are you located in FL? I'm in Cape Coral but have only been to 2 of the Ford Garage locations, 1 in CC and the 1 in downtown Ft. Myers. I actually just posted looking for the best Ford dealer in my area. I have a 2021 GT with the 10 spd and I'm having camera issues. I've only had the car a couple of months but the camera has only worked a few times. I need to take it in for warranty and due to travel I'm just getting around to it.

Also, what color is yours? I have Antimatter Blue.

This is with Bozard Ford in st Augustine. I can't say if their service is good as my Mustang has not been back there since I bought it. ;)
Mine is Kona Blue.

Update*

Bozard Ford's mobile service van arrived on schedule, took about 20 minutes to flash the update and the technician even topped off the windshield washer fluid. I drove my Mustang about 50 miles after that and everything seems ok.
The mobile service is a great service option!

I had no issue with this until I hit 22k miles about 3 months ago. Started happening only occasionally while reversing. Then it started happening every reversal. Then it started happening just everytime I drove my car before I left the driveway.
