I had trouble getting enough clearance and was pretty frustrated trying to get enough leverage. The second time around, I found that if you remove the rubber isolaters from the top of the springs before you pull them out it makes it much easier. On the install, you put the isolaters in first then slide the springs in under them.

Those splined bolts will pop right out if you have access to an air hammer. Just make sure you use a soft tip so you don't mushroom the end of the bolt. Ha... Mushroom Tip LOL.

For the install of my sportlines in the rear, I did not disconnect the control arms. I just lowered the IRS cradle one side at a time. I have access to a lift, and it made the job a lot easier. Although swapping springs can be done on jack stands, if you can get some time on a lift for the install, I'd recommend it.
