I was getting onto an onramp at like 40-50 mph with a decent amount of turn angle and the back end felt good but as it started to uncompress the rear is did this wallowing(seemed to have a real fast rebound).
Anyone else notice this?

I thought these cars were track ready?

A bit harsh on the replies but yes the back end could use some tightening and it's a well known weak point.

Outside of lowering, try the BMR Suspension CB005 kit and the Steeda rear shock mounts.

Thanks for your reply, I was thinking that its a little off but really didn't understand why given the relatively moderate speed and completely new car. I will check out the kit and braces. Much appreciated!

FYI
I typically don't respond to people that have little to no value. It's usually a lack of maturity and a waste of my time.

The PP needs more upgrades in the rear...diff bushings, IRS supports, cradle lock out, and so forth. Wheel hop is terrible in these cars if you don't specifically address it. Ready for the track....if you want to spin out and wreck it. Once I did those things I wasn't losing the rear of the car. Almost bounced it off the walls a few times.

I have from the factory a non performance package car - a GT Premium. The first thing I noticed in this car going around tight corners at higher speeds was the incredible amount of understeer and the body flex in the rear part of the car. They designed this car specifically with understeer.

Since then I've installed the performance package stiffening members (K-member and panel under the front, firewall brace extension, strut tower brace) and the alignment/IRS kit from Steeda, and I'm seeing miles of difference. I'm also going to be better set of wheels/tires than these pirelli's on 18x8's.

Sway bars and their links are going to probably be next. The IRS bushings are probably a good idea too, then its on to sub-frame bracing, then finally the actual suspension components (eg coilovers). Lots of changes over time, but that's the only way to get all of that bad handling in the corners dealt with.

I'll second this notion. I had great success with limiting slow choppy turns with a stiff rear sway bar and the added negative camber (-2.0) from lowering springs.

In fact, the only rear end wobbling I ever experience now is on cold mornings, with ice cold summer tires, when pulling out of my neighborhood (tight left turn). I may try the Steeda IRS braces down the road to limit/eliminate this too.
