I so wish I understood what you’re talking about. Lol. I do my own car work but you’re speaking way over my head apparently. 😀
LOL don't you worry take baby steps. There is all the info you need on this site. For now just focus on diagnosing seeing what the issue is then maybe if you require a replacement research to upgrade if you can.

Since it seems to be getting worse over time, that leads me to believe something came loose. Take it to the dealer for an alignment that you bought it from 6 months ago. See is they’ll help you out since it’s only been 6 months. I’d bet someone did an alignment on it and didn’t lock something down.

This is your best path. If they won't help you, take it to a Firestone shop - they're very good at alignments. I would also take this as an opportunity to install a Steeda Stop the Hop kit. They offer several 'Ultimate' kits that are really easy to install if you're mechanically inclined, or your alignment shop could do it for you. It really improves handling. Good luck!

As CorvZO61 stated, start with the dealer.
If it's a Ford dealer, ask for an Oasis report. If not, ask here, or someone you know at a Ford dealership for one.

Just because a car has a "clean" carfax, does NOT mean it was NEVER in an accident. It can also mean that IF it was ever in an accident, it was:
1) Never reported.
2) Happened just before you bought it, and hadn't been processed by carfax yet.
3) Wrongly accounted for by carfax, and never got assigned to that car (VIN).

Good luck and keep us informed.

My guess is too much negative toe, especially in the rear. Go to a GOOD alignment shop and get them to add some toe-in for stability. Too much toe will eat your tires, and negative toe will cause your car to wander when it hits bumps. I run a teeeeny bit of negative toe in the front to give the steering a bit of liveliness, but i always toe-in the rears.

You don't need any aftermarket parts to correct this issue, just a simple alignment. The shop will tell you if anything is worn or damaged while they have it on the rack too (again, this is why you go to a good alignment shop).

I have a 2020 Ecoboost. The rear end seemed to be jumping around a lot when I hit small bumps in the road. Within a few months ate the back tires. Completely stock car. Took it to get aligned at a big chain tire store and they said they couldn’t. Said they cant do alignment on newer Mustang. I placed a straight edge on both back tires and both wheels on the rear are pointing slightly left. This causes it to track in a crabbing way down the road.
Anyway, has anybody experienced this or have any idea what it could be?
I just want to thank everyone that has replied to this post. I had a half dozen great responses within hrs. All respectful and polite. That’s hard to come by nowadays. Thank you all for taking time out of your day to give me great info. I will update soon once I know the issue.
thanks again!

Do not take your car to F***stone for an alignment. I took mine there for one and ended up with a roasted clutch and 7 weeks of BS dealing with it.

We have a local chain here in Atlanta called Butler Tire. They are where you go to get tires if you drive a Ferrari or Aston... Find out who in your city is like that and take it there. They will have no problem with a Mustang.

I second this! I took my S197 last time Crap service bunch of inexperienced kids working on it. The alignment sucked too. Never again taking it to them.

When I did my subframe lockout Hardware I loosened all 4 of the subframe bolts because I had trouble realigning.... my point is as soon as the bolts were loosen for the subframe my subframe shifted and you can tell from the witness marks the subframe left of how off it was from the factory. So if the subframe was loosened or removed for installation purposes or for repair purposes/bodywork you'll get it to dog track I remember my passenger side popped out good half inch as it swung loose.. I didn't even drink yet maybe that was the problem. idk if it was mentioned but are the tires sticking out evenly on pass/driver sides?

buy the IRS alignment dowels (STeeda/BMR), drop the IRS bolts, insert dowels, get it realigned. You either have a case of a egregious drunk-Monday car, or abuse by PO that shifted things.

Look for torn bushings at the IRS mount points. Better yet, add Whiteline drop-in IRS isolation bushings while you're at it.

I agree. Alignment dowels will line up the rear subframe Then its just a matter of setting correct toe and camber on the rear.

A good alignment shop will be able to fix the rear hopping problems if it has not been in a bad accident.
Steeda alignment bushings definitely help.
The shop should also be able to inspect and determine if you have suspension damage.
