I believe this is a known issue. Starting from parked, go forward get a click, reverse, get a click. I stuck my head under the car and there's diff fluid on the housing collecting toward the bottom of it. I think this is the issue with the drive-shaft seals into the diff.

I'm scheduling to take the car in, and I want to be able to tell them what it is just to save time.

FYI, I did a basic search and couldn't find the topic.

I've heard that click has been traced back to the rag joint within the OEM 2 piece driveshaft but never seen any definitive information.

Sounds like a pinion seal leak. Mine had it.
Ah.....thank you. I'll take that as a possibility. I just thought I'd read here that a few folks were having that clicking from where the drive-shafts went into the diff.

Doesn't matter, I'll just tell them there's a clicking and leaking diff fluid, let them figure the rest out.

Actually sounds like the axle nut issue.
